You might not know what a legion is or where the number 1818 comes from. Simply put, the meaning of our name comes from: 1) A 'Legion' is a unit of the military. Just as any military fights for their country and/or cause, we are fighting for SLU, and 2) 1818 refers to the year Saint Louis Academy, the precursor to Saint Louis University, was founded.
We charge no fees; we hold no tryouts or auditions; we hold no bars. Instead, we support through spirit, show pride through our presence, and expel every ounce of breath in our lungs for our men and women on the pitch.
