Parent Organization: Saint Louis University
Alpha Kappa Psi is the oldest and largest professional business fraternity in the world, with over 200 chapters. Founded in 1904 at New York University, our principles are to promote institutions of business education, to develop future leaders, and to foster appreciation for higher ideals in business. The core values of our fraternity are brotherhood, knowledge, integrity, service, and unity.
The Alpha Kappa Psi -Delta Signma chapter at Saint Louis University was founded in 1976. As a chapter we strive to help our university by focusing on community service and providing professional events. Our service project for the year is The Bridge which is a shelter for the homeless in the local St. Louis area. We also involve ourselves in other smaller scaled projects to help benefit our community. Providing Professional speakers for the business school student body is a major goal of our fraternity. Along with providing small sessions of speakers from many companies, Alpha Kappa Psi puts in a great amount of time with Business Week presented in the John Cook School of Business.
The fraternity is a great way to connect with other students with the same interests. Along with being professional, we plan many social events that help build relationships with others.
